High load in a small axial space. 90 standard sizes from Ø8 to Ø250 mm, manufactured from 50CrV / 51CrMnV / 60Si2Mn spring steel per GB/T 1222.
A disc spring develops several times the axial force of a coil spring in the same envelope — ideal for bolt pre-load, valves and overload protection.
Series A (D/t≈18) for high load, Series B (D/t≈28) the balanced workhorse, Series C (D/t≈40) for large travel — all to GB/T 1972.2-2023 Annex B.
In series for travel, in parallel for load, in combination for both — one washer geometry covers a wide force/deflection map.
| Series | D/t | h₀/t | Outer diameter D | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | ≈ 18 | ≈ 0.40 | 8 – 250 mm | Highest load, small deflection |
| B | ≈ 28 | ≈ 0.75 | 8 – 250 mm | Balanced — most widely used |
| C | ≈ 40 | ≈ 1.30 | 8 – 250 mm | Large deflection, lower load |
Source standard: GB/T 1972.2-2023 Belleville springs — Part 2: Technical requirements (data transcribed from Annex B). Material steel per GB/T 1222.
